A MODERN FINE ART PRINT OF FREE PEOPLE SUNGLASSES.

I have had the opportunity to hang three fine art prints at Brigham Young University-Idaho, and this sunglasses picture is by far my favorite. I named it “shades” because of the shadow and because they are sunglasses (haha). It may seem simple, but I used technique, creativity and style to create this modern fine art print!

At first glance it is easy to assume I used a sheet of plexiglass to get such a strong shadow, but surprise! it is not. It is pink card-stock! Then, with the help of Kory Burrows, I had two off-camera lights helping to cast shadow and bring highlights. That is how we got a harsh shadow on the card-stock and then the white highlights on the top of the glasses.
