HOW TO FREEZE WATER SPRAY ON A PRODUCT PHOTO.

Product photography can make a world of difference for brand. My favorite product photography is done by Kate Spade on Instagram. I find inspiration in their styling, lighting, and creativity.

The new Orange Vanilla Coke tastes like a dreamsicle in your mouth. And I wanted to portray an image that was both compelling and did this delicious product justice. I went to my local Walmart and got Coke, oranges, and vanilla bean sticks for styling. For the set-up of this image I was outside on a cabin deck, with white plexiglass on the bottom and then a black reflector at the back. I had 2 speedlights to catch the water spray and two friends spraying bottles. I had a 50mm lens because I wanted a blurred background. It took a few tries to catch the spray exactly how I wanted it but I am so stoked about this photo! It is one of my best product photos!
